Why this evidence node matters
Section titled “Why this evidence node matters”A device setting, water bath, warm towel, or hand-warming routine can produce different temperatures across the product, package, hand, or contact surface. Strong wording about evenness or absence of hot areas needs mapped evidence.
What evidence can support
Section titled “What evidence can support”- A bounded statement that local temperature distribution was mapped under named conditions.
- A reason to avoid no-hot-spot or even-warming language unless local maxima and spread pattern were measured.
- A bridge between contact-temperature curves and heat-ready formula evidence packets.
What evidence cannot support
Section titled “What evidence cannot support”- It cannot prove formula stability, preservative robustness, packaging compatibility, or skin suitability.
- It cannot support universal “no hot spots,” “safe temperature,” “baby-safe,” or “pregnancy-safe” wording.
- It cannot replace repeated-use or finished-formula testing.
Minimum evidence object
Section titled “Minimum evidence object”- Warming method, formula amount, package state, and surface condition.
- Sensor or imaging method, timing, distance, and map resolution.
- Baseline, post-warming, first-contact, spread, and cool-down readings where relevant.
- Reported local maximum, local minimum, average, and measurement uncertainty.
- Clear wording that maps one condition and does not generalize to all products or users.
Claim boundary
Section titled “Claim boundary”Allowed wording can say that local temperature distribution was mapped under a disclosed protocol. No-hot-zone, even-warming, or high-caution audience wording needs stronger product-specific evidence and review.
